Dating back to the mid 1800’s, Meadow Mill was one of several Hooper’s Woodberry Manufacturing Company mills located in the Jones Falls Valley. The mill was first intended for the manufacturing of twine and cotton duck (a heavy canvas used primarily for ship sails). It was later sold to Londontown Manufacturing Company in the 1960’s and became a production house for the famous London Fog Raincoats. Today, Meadow Mill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offers contemporary uses with a historic feel.
